These Terms are a binding agreement between you and Keplr Labs LLC ("UnMasked," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using UnMasked, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
You must be 18 years or older to use UnMasked. By using it you represent that you are 18+, that the information you provide is accurate, and that you have the legal capacity to enter this agreement. Accounts found to belong to minors are removed.
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure. Don't share your account or let anyone else use it. Tell us promptly at support@keplrlabs.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
UnMasked exists to be a safer, calmer, more honest place to date. You agree not to:
Violations may result in content removal, suspension, or permanent removal, and — where appropriate — reports to law enforcement.
You keep ownership of the content you create (profile, photos, messages). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and process your content solely to operate and secure the service (including showing your profile to other users and providing features you enable). This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained for legal or safety reasons or in routine backups.
You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it.
We provide tools to block, unmatch, and report. We use automated screening and human review, and we may remove content or suspend/terminate accounts that violate these Terms — with or without notice. We do not conduct criminal background checks on users. UnMasked is a platform for meeting people; you are responsible for your own interactions and safety. Take sensible precautions, especially when meeting anyone in person. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user.
UnMasked's AI "wingman" features are optional aids that suggest — they never decide for you and are provided "as is." AI output may be inaccurate; it is not professional, medical, legal, or relationship advice. You remain fully responsible for what you say and do.
Some features may be offered as paid subscriptions in the future. If and when they are, pricing, billing, auto-renewal, and cancellation terms will be presented at purchase and processed through the applicable app store, subject to that store's rules. *(No real charges are made in the current version.)*
UnMasked is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that it will result in any match, relationship, or outcome.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company and its owners, employees, and providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of UnMasked. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or USD $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify and hold the Company harmless from claims and expenses arising out of your content, your use of the service, or your violation of these Terms or the law.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or to protect the community or comply with law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (content license limits, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, dispute resolution) survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Florida, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Informal resolution first. If you have a dispute with us, email support@keplrlabs.com first — most issues are resolved quickly. You agree to attempt to resolve any dispute informally for at least 30 days before starting arbitration or a lawsuit.
Binding individual arbitration. Except for the exceptions below, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of UnMasked that is not resolved informally will be settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court. Arbitration will take place in the State of Florida, or by phone or video, or at another mutually agreed location. The arbitrator's decision is final and may be entered as a judgment in any court of competent jurisdiction.
Class-action waiver. You and Keplr Labs LLC agree that claims will be brought only in an individual capacity, and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective, consolidated, or representative proceeding. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in court to protect its intellectual property or stop unauthorized use of the service.
30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement within 30 days of first accepting these Terms by emailing support@keplrlabs.com with your name and a statement that you wish to opt out.
Court venue. For any dispute not subject to arbitration (or if you opt out), you and Keplr Labs LLC agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in Florida, and each party consents to that jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date and notified in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
